Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
Diagnosed with RA 14 years ago; CTS; TMJ. Family history of RA (mother).
Treatments
- Celebrex Not Working
- Didn't work, so stopped early and tried other medications.
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Have been on it for several years, no side effects, but have to have eye exams every 6 mos.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Wonderful to break a flare. Side effects - weight gain.
- Relafen Working / Worked
- Have been on this for several years, no problems noted.
- Tylenol Working / Worked
- Use it at night before bed to reduce pain so I can sleep.
- Voltaren Working / Worked
- Use the gel to rub on my hands; helps a little.
Close Alzheimer's Disease
My Father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in June 2008 (although we suspected it about a year prior to the diagnosis). I am his daughter and I am trying to help him.
