Today as I sit at my desk I can not stop thinking about what transpired two years ago today. The first shooting happen in the residence hall where I sent four years of my life. I cried on that day remembering all the good times I had in that building only to forever remember it as a place where a gunman took the lives of two people on the stairs that I went up and down on a daily basis to visit my boyfriend who lived on the forth floor and I on the first.
Norris Hall where I had one of my freshman classes. Although the class was canceled after three weeks it is still a place that I can remember walking by, sitting in looking out across the drillfield daydreaming about class being over.
It is a somber moment as I remember the good times at Va Tech and now to have the memory of such tragedy. To all those who were affect by the "Tragedy at Va Tech" you are forever with me because I will forever be a HOKIE!

I graduated in 2000 so I luckily was not there the day of the tragedy but it still hits home.
