About Me
I am retired from the health care field. I have 2 daughters and 3 step children. My philosophy in life is, "I can accomplish anything in life if I really want to." I have pretty much dedicated my life helping those who were and are in need. Last year my spouse and I developed a campaign that enabled us to buy 6000 pairs of socks for the homeless of our city. It was such a joy to do. My passion at the moment is my two great dogs whom I adore and who love me just the way I am.

Close Macular Degeneration
I was diagnosed with dry M.D. 2 years ago. This week I lost vision rapidly in my left eye. I was told yesterday it has become wet M.D. The doctor made an apointment to inject Avastin this coming Thursday. I am considering refusing treatment. I need to discuss this with those who have had the treatment. I must make the decision by Monday A.M. Any input would be much appreciated.
