Hi Kathy! I read your entry on the Discoid Lupus site and I really wanted to send you out some hugs. I can relate to alot of the skin issues, which is why I started the site. Feel free to vent to me anytime you want. I hate having to spend so much time primping as well and I totally understand the depression that comes with this. There were many times I would not let my picture be taken and I've ripped up pictures because I didn't like the spots, rashes that showed up on my skin. Then I would feel guilty about being vain. But I still will not go out in public without the necessary products. I can so relate. I want to find answers and solutions to this condition. Let's help eachother. Hugs and love to you! Meggy

Close Fibromyalgia
I am a female in my 50's. A couple of weeks ago, I had a biopsy of a spot on my face and was diagnosed with Dicoid Lupus. I had some more blood tests and have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. He has prescribed Lyrica and Clonazapan.I haven't taken the Lyrica yet. I am afraid of the side effects. I am new to this support group and am now researching this Disease.
