well I made it and finally enjoying my do-over in life! glad I came, left after doc appt and labs- not sure when I return or if! yeah I probably will! for now I'm chillin in the foothills of pa. lots of hills, fall colors and of course my long lost love, - her family and friends amazing positive people! I feel I belong here, but I still miss my family! if I am still here in summer I will send for evan, my youngest he is miserable with his mother! we went to a few Rreki (spiritual) healing meetings positive people and energy! I feel pretty good and Cathy takes good care of me! I am a very lucky man- a double do-over in life and love- how often does that happen? just shows to go ya - there is aways hope!

after my double do-over in life and now love, I am going to extend the great visit I had with an old girlfriend- going to her home this time- who knows what will happen but it feels right- or is it just too long since I had a decent woman in my life? 42 yrs ago we were briefly together, why I left I don't remember! but I hope to stay this time! we are both so much older and wiser now- we both went thru hell in life, we know what is important and what we want, there is a distance problem but we both deserve this chance, I hope we can work it out! I will try, and I think she will too! I see the hepatolist thursday and if all is well I leave the next day! I hope for a good report and good labs! this whole thing came out of nowhere, was it meant to be? time will tell but I want to believe it was!

21months 3 weeks and numbers are ok -not great but stable! feeling better and its time to get on with living, get out of hermit mode! I reconnected with an old girlfriend I knew 42yrs ago- she is flying down tommorrow and we are going to drive around florida- visiting her friends and my older son- havn't had a vacation forever so WTF I'm going! it should be fun and I need this, I finally feel up to traveling and whatever else happens! lol! like I said she is a girl I went with when we were teens- I always call my transplant my do-over in life- now I get a double do-over! hope all goes well

Hey Mark! Great stuff.....get out there and have some fun.....all this sickness thing gets to be a pain in the arse after a while. :-) If you are dropping by Ft. Lauderdale make sure to visit Himarshee....http://www.himmarshee.com/about/ their whole yellow tailed snapper is absolutely exquisite and I am told their steaks are as good as you will get anywhere. Himarshee rates as one of my top places to eat in the world!
If you go there, get a street table.

Marky, (does that bug you? it`s what I used to call my older brother!) that`s absofuckinglutely fantastic. (have you seen recent pictures) . I have some insight for you. When I started feeling better and good to go back to what it was like before I got sick I found that I had forgotten what `normal` was like for me. Normal did not exist. I had to and still have to learn what it should be. I know it doesn`t make sense but I`m afraid it is not like getting back on a horse. The horse hasn`t forgotten. None the less it is enjoyable if you have good humor and a self-deprecating mind set. Have a ball spend a lot of money (always makes me feel good) and report back. BTW I am coming to Fla. this year sometime to Daytona so I will come visit. It`s only `what` 2 hour drive? jeff

Marky, dude you are inspiring me to shoot for my own moon! Can`t find the damn thing, but when I do, I`ll be locked and loaded! I think that it must have been tough on you to send Evan back to the anti-christ, but he`ll survive. Are you seriously thinking about staying in Pittsburg? Have you experienced winter in the midwest before? Brrrrrrrrrrr! I`d do the two homes thing. Weather determined, if you know what I mean! Ciao........Jeff
