liver tx 15months ago I, m doing ok living with my family now cause I'm still not right I worked in the perfume industry , before that a paralegal. unable to work now. the meds I have to take to stay alive are slowly killing me.but I'm enjoying my do-over in life

Hi there, I just wanted to say that I am with you. The medical community has figured out how to battle diseases but they haven't quite figured out how to conquer the ugly side effects. So, we survive the transplants but the devastation that the meds do to your body take a toll. Although our mind are stll the same. Very hard to deal with for me, but we are alive. So, take your new honey and do what ever feels right and good because you deserve to have happiness wherever and however it presents itself to you!!!

I lost my liver to the lizard 12/7/07 but got a new one. only on the tx list a week. very very sick for a long time unfortunately the lizard came back= it always does. now I have to do peg+ rivaviron (-no fun) as well as all my tx meds.

- worked for awhile, way back when then the lizard rebounded
- Liver Transplant Working / Worked
- 3 comas and the wildest trip I've ever been on,- anyone here know about encephalopathy? I sure do!
- Pegylated Interferon Too Soon to Tell
- don't ever take too much, too often. I accidentally did and went nuts! ended up in hospital (again)

- headaches, general weirdness- but I got to take every day
