How are you doing today? Me I'm tired. I try to walk most everyday. Baby steps. Haven't heard from you and that's ok if you don't feel like talking. Just wanted you to know I'm with you. Hugs, Peach

Hi Im Suze I just joined this group, I too have had a MI, a small stoke open heart,& a couple of stent placements. I too have the feeling today could be my last. Sometimes I miss out on really fun stuff. A wonderful friend told me not to worry about when, it has already been written. Its important to focus on positive thoughts and do things you really love. Surround yourself with what makes you happy. I found this site & thought it might help me, knowing there's others feeling the way I do, makes it a bit better. Hang tough, and know your not alone. Blessings Suze

Hello I'm Peach. I had my 2nd spinal surgery Oct 22 08 and 2 weeks later I had a massive heart attack at the age of 43. I have a stent in my heart. The worse part of my recovery is my spinal surgery. Haven't been able to do rehab (PT). Please don't give up it gets better. I'm still tired most of the time. If you need someone to talk with or just to vent. I'm with you!! Take Care, Peach

      Stents Working / Worked
On 2/25/09,I had a heart attack, resulting with a stent being installed. While the recovery program is going relatively smooth,I am having terrible bouts of anxiety and depression,to the point of conteplating just terminating the meds and everything else related to recovery. Some days, the the whole picture regarding living in fear of another attack, just seems overwhelming and I start getting panic attacks. Is this common among survivors and if so,what can be done to get over this mess??
