ALONG THE WATER FRONT
Waves smacking the rocks
Gulls flying high above me
Drift wood scattered fro
Foam and weeds blanket
Salt the taste of breezy air
Clouds float high above
I walk slowly on
Take the scene in as I go
Along water's edge
Boats away from shore
Sails luffing as they change course
Then take up the wind
My dog besides me
We walk further the beach
The suns warmth on us
At a bench we stop
To rest in the shade, and think
Finding peace and calm
I would stay all day
But other things pull me back
I must leave for home...

Thanks everybody. I am slowly feeling better moodwise. But I have a lot of work to do. Right now I get so irritable when the pain goes up. I have had to rest more lately, so I haven't been online much this past week. Hugs.
