A POEM - NO MATTER!

No matter what I'm going through
I'll not forget to praise
No matter how hard the journey is
I'll hope for better days

No matter how I'm 'feeling'
I'll trust You're by my side
No matter what offences spring
I'll try to put aside my pride

When heartache's lurking near my door
I'll read the words You said
And keep them close within my heart
My spirit, soul and head

When I'm frightened and confused
And feel I can't go on
I know I'll draw my strength from You
And know I'm not alone

When I don't seem to matter to anyone else
When nobody seems to care
When darkness falls and I'm left with 'me'
It's with You, my secrets, I share

Yes You're for me not against me
You haven't given up on me yet
& there's a reason that I'm here today
That You love me, I can never forget

For You've proven time and time again
You're the best Friend that I've got
You're closer than a lover
So I'm happy with my lot

No matter what happens with morning's dawn
& no matter what they do to me
Your mercy & Grace will pull me through
For Your Grace is sufficient for me
