Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

Where to start... I was diagnosed with PCOS 1 1/2 years ago. Been on Metformin since then. Tried various treatments/IUIs, didn't work. MD referred me to Fertility Endocrinologist who put me on two types of injections with oral meds, and and IUI. It was successful the first time, however, I miscarried. I'm getting ready to start my second round with the specialist. Anxious about the shots and ultrasounds and lab work and everything AGAIN!!

Treatments

Clomid Working / Worked

Clomid, Repronex, hCG, Metformin all together worked for a positive pregnancy test, however miscarried last month.

hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked

Worked when used with injections and IUI

Metformin Working / Worked

I have taken this for over a year. It rocks my stomach sometimes, but seems fairly effective. My MDs say studies indicate good results with Metformin and infertility.

Progesterone Working / Worked

suppositories... yeah, fun...

Repronex Working / Worked

I only had one month of this injection, it worked, but I miscarried.

Artificial Insemination Working / Worked

Ive had 4 with various combinations of medications as noted Repronex Clomid hCG and IUI worked the first try however miscarried.
