Well i havent been on for a while coz ive been so busy, mainl y trying to get my head around my husband latest antics.
About 5 days ago he decided to detox one more time, at home, with no medication to help him at all. I knew deep down from the start it wasnt going to work, and i was right. He didnt even last 24 hours.
So now, hes using once a day, gradually lessening his usage daily, until he can handle it to try detoxing again.
I dont really know if hes telling me the truth or not, i still think hes using a bit more than he says he is.
So here i am once again, playing the waiting game, to see if it really works.
I know ive said recently that this is his last chance, because i have to put the children first now, but im not sure how long to give this time. I guess il just have to wait n see what happens over the next few days. Watch this space!

as someone who did the "cutting down my dose at home" method a few times, i can tell you, your gut is right. YOU KNOW deep down what the deal is. hate to be the blackbird of bad tidings, but the sooner you get serious ad force some consequences, the sooner you get your family back. (there will probably be a few times where it "looks" like it's gone for good before you get there). i had to be a really desperate rat in a corner before i got serious about getting clean. good luck
