Hi Staci. I just read your discussion thread in the Chronic Pain support group and I thought you could use a hug, plus I wanted to let you know that I went through something fairly similar to what you are going through now, and I was 35 when I had my total hysterectomy. If you ever want to discuss this in more detail, please let me know. I am new to this site and to the CP group, but I have been around the block a few times and if I can do anything at all to help, please feel free to ask. Take care and best of luck with the job!

Hi Staci, how did your urologist appt go? I've been to a couple of those.. it can be painful, not a fun doctor to see. I hope your pain problems are getting resolved. I'm on so much meds, I feel kind of drugged out sometimes. But my life is manageable and more predictable (no more ER visits). I like my new primary care doctor. Let me know how things are going with you. Take care always, big hugs to you :)

NEVER talk about your diagnosis, pain, limitations, etc in a job interview. It is a sure fire ticket to not getting hired. Employers aren't supposed to discriminate, but they do. I know you are trying to do the right thing, but zip your lips and throw away the key if you are serious about employment.

Oh Staci! So sorry to hear about your troubles with your daughter! But, I agree that you have to stand your ground. She may be angry right now and not understand, but she will understand in her own time. Kids can be stubborn, but deep down, she knows you and your hubby love her and will come back to you. How is your pain? Any news from Mayo? You've got a full plate, Girl, but you are strong and can get throught this! I'm well, just tired when I get home from work. My son is enjoying being a big 5th grader! Well friend, I had better get in the shower and get ready for work! Have an aewsome day and an even better weekend!

    Hugs,
    Terri
