Bipolar disorder is a fairly new diagnosis for me. I have always been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, but my erratic moods never fit the bill. I cycle between moods at light-speed, and I can feel on top of the world one moment, to suicidal the next.

Been on Seroquel for a year and a half. It really does the job to stabilize me and even my mood out at my normal 300mg. However, I was once instructed to increase my dose to 600mg, and while I felt absolutely amazing, I had severe cardiac side effects.

Accutane Working / Worked

I am on my fourth month of Accutane, and although it has not completely cleared me yet, the effects are visible + I am happy with the results so far. However, one must watch out for the side effects of this drug. I need to come off of it this week because of an increase in intracranial pressure in my head that has caused me memory loss. Once it has subsided, however, I would like to continue treatment.
