    • About Me

Hello everyone! I'm a graduate student trying to make it through graduate school while still managing CFS. Before CFS, I was very active between school, church, music, running, friends . . . now my focus is making it through grad school and glorifying Jesus no matter how much or little I am physically able to do.

It was not long. They did not give me an IV, but just an injection. I took valium (5mg) which calmed me a little. But when I was in the machine..I was calm as could be. I was more afraid of the test than the results. Now I am afraid, waiting for the results. I am praying for good results. Thank you for asking. Thank you for being there.

I think that it is definitely worth talking with your tutor, or whoever is 'in charge' of you, because there may be some workaround - even if you are in a teaching position. The way I see it is that it would not look good for any higher educational establishment to be discriminating against a 'disabled' person (well that's how I view it and how it could be argued if you lived in the UK). Also, as you say... getting a masters is nothing to be sniffed at - a great achievement all things considered and can only help you with work in the future I would have thought.

Good luck with your decision about your studies. Is it not possible for you to do your course part time?
