My grandbabies dog died this morning. We don't know why. This dog was very special to my daughter and I and anyone that ever was around him. He would still your heart. I posted a picture of him in my photos. Last night he looked funny and was cold. His temperature dropped to 94. We took him to the emergency vet. The emergency vets are a bunch of idiots that can't get real jobs. He said he was dehydrated and wanted to just give him fluids. My oldest daughter is a vet tech so we took him home because he could be watched better at home. The emergency vet closes at midnight. Nobody is there to watch him until the next day. My daughter gave him fluids and took him to her office at 4 this morning. He looked better until she got to work. He started bleeding out his mouth and nose and went limp. She had him on oxygen that kept him alive but he was really dead so she removed it. At least he didn't die alone with people he didn't know. Drake was about 6 years old. Tiny dogs like him are so fragile. He was under two pounds depending how much he ate that day. He did die one other time. I gave him CPR and he came back to us. I just wish this time he could have made it through.

I'm so sorry you lost a beloved pet. I love dogs so much, they always provide unconditional love. My yellow lab,JB, died 5 years ago. He was bleeding out of his mouth and had no energy. I rushed him to the vet and they insisted he stay overnight . They called the next morning and said he was dead. I felt so much heartache (and guilt) I was not there his last few moments. Rest in Peace JB....and Drake!
