About Me

I am a 50 yrs. old happily married fot 31 yrs. to my husband Bob. Have two beautiful and talanted daughters and wonderful son inlaw. My one daughter has two beautiful children they make my sunshine and my other daughter is engaged to get married next fall. The reason I'm on this support group is because 2 yrs. ago I had a lower spinal fussion for a slipped disk and pinched nerves in my back. The reasults wern't so good and have been in constant pain since. 2 months ago they went back in and took out my hardware from my back and found massive spinal spurs had grown and were pinching the nerves in the spinal cannal and was putting me in a lot of pain in my lower right leg. To the point I couldn't hardly walk for the last 7 months. They say I have spinal stenosis and the Dr. says the nerves might be permantly damaged. Only time will tell. They told me after the first sugery it could take up to 2 yrs. for the nerves to heal well its been 2 yrs. and no change even after the last sugery. I use to be a Store Director for a major clothing company and basicily lost my job over a year ago because of my back. That wasn't what they let me go for but it really was the reason. So now I have no job and can't work and have to figure out were to go from here. So if you can relate to me and we could give each other support that is why I'm here.
