Close Rosacea

I've had mild roseacea for years. Not very noticible and not too concerned. Occassionally took antibiotics and used metrogel. I'm almost 50 and I woke up one morning with huge!!! red, thick pimple like marks all over my face. My eyes seem to be affected also. Now I am on 150 mg doryx and desonate gel. It's taken over 2 weeks to start to look semi normal. I went out in the sun with 15 sunscreen and a hat and am now back at square one again. So what can I use for full sunscreen? I am frustrated!

Doxycycline Working / Worked

was working until I went out in the sun...I guess without enough protection. On it for almost 2 weeks.

MetroGel Working / Worked

Worked on my real pimples when they came around but not much for the pustules(?) of rosacea.
