I refuse to let FMS hold me down. I'm not on meds except for occasional sleep needs. I lived for yrs suffering until I TOOK control of my life. I'm married to a truck driver. Have 2 grown kids at home, 3 dogs, have 3 water turtles (6") and 3 large goldfish (5")in a pond in my dining//plant room. What can I say, I love life, I try to stay upbeat about EVERYTHING and on occasion I can be a hard a** b**ch. I'm a witch and have been most of my 51 years. I DO believe in GOD, I just believe he has a mate because we are ALL created in his image and everything in life has a balance or mate. I RESPECT EVERYONE for thier religious beliefs. What I hate most is people who lie or use others for thier own gain.

ANYTHING outdoors...and I do mean EVERYTHING except things that include falling. My pets Crafting (gee, wonder "which" crafting she means) har har Painting ceramics I still love to climb trees and do so when I'm able I love my kids even though they can drive me crazy LOVE spending time with hubby and with friends I LOVE feeling my bare feet on the ground even though I stepped on a bee 3 times last summer.

congrats on the business!!!! it is going to be wonderful. i want to hear about it because i make hot glass items, bowls, platters, etc. it is a tremendous amount of work and requires a large amount of glass, which is very expensive. but i absolutely love it;; right now i could not live without it. let me know how your business goes, especially with an arm out of commission. lorrie

Thank you so much! I am so happy to have some tools to try to stay positive now. I am just so glad to know that I am not crazy. It gets really scary when you can't control your mind you know? I am getting panic attacks daily! Oh yes I sure wish there was a spell check haha. Best wishes for you! :)

Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with FMS about 6 years ago by a doctor who asked me a series of "do you have this & that questions then said "you have Fibromyalgia" and wrote out a web page for me to look up. and that was it. I've actually suffered for most of my life with various symptoms that "fit". I'm not on any meds other than amatryptaline for sleep. I spent a year on Zoloft which made me numb enough to take a HARD look at my life and now I am living one day at a time the best I can, mostly med free.
Treatments
- Heat Not Working
- heat aggrivated the pain
- TENS Working / Worked
- had this years before the diagnosis and I LOVED it but it was sadly a temp thing for hip pain
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- zoloft made me unfeeling and uncaring but it gave me a year to take a good look at how I was living and make chages in my attitude.
