I'm here to talk about MS and share different things that have helped reduce my symptoms with others and get feedback from others about what they do to relieve their symptoms.

Treatments

Baclofen Not Working

It was a good drug for me if I wanted to get stoned (which I didn't). It didn't help my muscle spasms at all.

Prednisone Working / Worked

Had a high dose of Prednisone a couple of times. It worked almost as well as Solumedrol but with some serious stomach issues that lasted for a couple of months.

Rebif Working / Worked

I've been taking three days a week and never miss a dose. I had the flu-like stmptoms for a few months, but they're going away. I am usually weak the day after an injection, however but it's nothing I can't live with. I take 4 Advils right before the injections always to keep the side effects from rearing their ugly heads.

Solumedrol Working / Worked

Gave "miracle like' relief of my relapses with few side effects. Not a big fan of keeping an IV in my arm for three days though but it's worth it.

Zanaflex Working / Worked

Zanaflex is what I was given after the Baclofen was a "no go". It works very well on my muscle tightness and spasms. It does make me a little loopy but not nearly as bad as Baclofen.

Ditropan Working / Worked

What can I say when ya gotta go...ya gotta go. This makes it a good bit easier to control bladder urgency. It definitely gives me a fair chance to make it to the restroom on time when Im out in public.

Detrol Not Working

I was given Detrol LA by a Neurologist who didnt actually understand my symptoms. It did not work well at all and it was very very overpriced.
