Close Hysterectomy

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer (stage 1B) on March 6 after having had a LEEP and a cone biopsy for what was thought to just be severe dysplasia. I was supposed to wait a month to have a radical hysterectomy, and as of today, (April 2) I still haven't been scheduled for one. I am 48 years old, single, never married, no kids.

Close Cervical Cancer

I was diagnosed on March 6. I am stage 1B, for that I am thankful. I am waiting for my radical hysterectomy to be scheduled. I am 48 years old, single, no children.

Treatments

LEEP Working / Worked

My leep was done as an outpatient procedure, so I was put under anesthesia. I had no pain, however, my vagina was really sore and irritated for about a week afterwards, I think from the speculum. Four days later I was called to come in to the office and I was told it was cervical cancer. I am now waiting to have a radical hysterectomy.
