      I was diagnosed with Wilson's Disease when I was 19. I am in my 50's now. I have a beautiful daughter and 3 granddaughters

      Treatments

      Penicillamine Working / Worked
      I was hospitalized for 2 months this was in 1973. They had no clue what was wrong with me. until a Med student read a paper on Wilsons Disease. I was blessed with really good Doctors and was treated somewhat experimentally but successfully, although twice they expected me to die. I have my labs done regularly ceruloplasmin levels are always good. I have only had a liver biopsy once and only because I had to have my gallbladder removed. Anyway I am healthy, happy and doing well on the cuprimine.
