  Hi Marie,
  I don't go to this site much either. I go to the other one a lot because there's great info and several people anywhere from 10 to 30 years out with CML. So it's very encouraging! The people are older and someone always responds! Hope you are well! I see Dr. Druker next week. How're your appts. going? Kim

  Hi Marie, I did have the pcr test when I was first diagnosed 9 months ago and again a couple of months ago. My current doctor didn't want to take the time to look up my first one (done with a different doctor) which is one of the reasons I looked in to seeing Dr. Druker. I think I feel a little better now--still no energy. My email address is kamykland@msn.com. Do you have a health food store near you? Kiefer lasts quite a while so you could probably pick some up when you go for your hormone appointment. It was 93 degrees here today. Too hot! Take care, Kim

  Hi Marie,
  Guess what!!! I woke up with a sore throat and feeling weak this morning. fever on and off. waited until 2:30 to decide whether to go or not and finally cancelled because I realized I am sick with the flu. Can you believe it??? So disappointed! It's going around down here again. Oh well, waiting to hear back from Druker's office so I can reschedule. In the meantime, I have an appt. with my regular oncologist on the 19th of this month. Interesting timing to get the flu. There was a woman in my yoga class yesterday who said she felt like whe was going to puke. I think she had the flu. I think that's where I got it. Thanks for the cheer of support!!! Kim

  Hi Marie,
  I'm off to Portland, Oregon tomorrow and have my appt with Dr Druker on Thursday. I'll write you Thursday night and let you know how it went. Thanks for the info. I called Dr Druker's office and they said he doesn't usually do a bone marrow test at the first appt. Fine with me. I've only had one and it was horrible. I don't know how you have gotten used to them. Sun dresses with your granddaughters sounds fun. Talk soon, Kim

  Hi Marie, Yes some thoughts about going back to work part time, but not as a counselor. I have one coaching client right now and it takes a lot out of me to work with people in this way. I think the red spots on my legs were a reaction to the sun because I was out in the sun for quite a while last Sunday. I almost have my vegetable garden in, So exciting because I've never had one before. I'll be curious to hear what Dr. Drucker has to say about my diet and supplements. I feel pretty good though. Been very productive around the house. Good luck with your counseling---will your son go with you, that would be good. Hope you're gettinng to spend time with your granddaughters. I find that I want to spend a lot of time at home and that it's harder for me to be in the city for too long. How often do you see your doctor? I'm at every three months right now though Drucker could change that. Hope I don't have to have a bone marrow test or that at least I can be anethticised. Talk to you next week. Take care, Kim

  Hi Marie, Keifer is a probiotic rich goat milk product--really good for your immune system. The goat protein is a powder form from Garden of Life. It's called Goatein. You can get a reduced price if you go to their website. I buy both products at a local health food co-op in our town. Also, if you are interested in the Ecoquest, you can get it wholesale through me. It's still about $500.00 at wholesale, but it has made a big difference in my life. How are you? Would you like to talk on the phone some time. I would. Hope all is well. I'm getting nervous about my appt. with Dr. Druker. I notices a lot of new red spots on my legs today. There are other things out there that have red spots as a sx, but so does CML. Kim

  Hi Marie, I've been busy this past week putting a garden and lawn in my back yard. Not much new to report. I have 6 days of my 30 class in 30 days yoga. I think I will make it, but it means twice a day for 4 days. I feel great. Haven't lost much weight, but I've gained muscle and strength. How are you? did you get your bioidentical hormones? I've been drinking flax seed oil in a drink with plain keifer, frozen blackberries, bananna, and goat protein. I mix it in a magic bullet. It has reduced stress, increased energy, reduced all food cravings and increased my energy. I have it twice a day. Also, my sister just introduced me to an air purification system that I love.
