Hi SandHarber,
As always it good to here from you. The type of traction your mother tried and it is not a lot of fun. I did find out after looking over my neck support that I was not using the strap to support the back of my head and that has helped a little but not a lot.
I also got my letter from my doctor. The report says the test are abnormal and there is degenerative change at the C5-6 level. At this point they are treating it as CERVICAL SPONDYLOSYIS. Just what I need some thing else to deal with.
Well like always all any of us is to take one day at a time. I guess...there isn't a lot I can do about it but to deal with it with all the rest of this crap.
You know Iris I'm sure your mother may be a little older than me...maybe not.
It seems to me we are a lot a like in a lot of ways for sure it seems like we both have some of the same problems.
I hope every day things will get better tomorrow That's a bought the only thing that keeps me going at this time and I hope your parents feel a lot like that..I will always keep thinking this way as long as I can.
I am trying to do a video for a friend whose grand father passed away. They were supposed to have the pictures here at 3:30 pm and got them here at 8:00 pm and I did not expect over 100 pictures. I have been doing this for over 20 years or when I didn't even own a computer and every one says I am the best and every one that has ever viewed my work says it is as good if not better than the pros.
I consider myself a semi pro.
Well enough about all of that. I guess I had better get to work for a little while to night so I can get to bed...I don't sleep real good anyway . Again it is very good to here from you Iris so until the next time and I hope you have a nice weekend . poppyjohn!
Thanks
Hi SandHarbor,
It's good to here from you and thanks for you concern. A lot of people always says it is only words but it does help a little and a lot to know that someone cares.
The friends in this group is very helpful.
Well I just talked to my doctors nurse and they have scheduled me for a MRI and made me a appointment with the pain clinic. They say that I will probable be getting some shots. I assume the way the doctor talked it will be like the ones they give your mother.
Iris, I don't care what they do as long as it is something. The Traction is not helping at all and maybe even making it worse. At first I thought 10 lbs. big deal that's not much but when I started and had this thing hanging from the bottom of my chin it hurt so bad and still does.
The other manger problem is they can not get me in for the MIR until December the 1st... That's not that long but with this pain it seems a long time to me and I am sure it will be a killer.
How is Your mother and dad doing? The last time I herd from you she had just got a shot and they were looking forward to the next one.
Well I guess I will go and rest for a while. I know you have a lot to do, so don't worry about getting back to me if you don't have time.
It is just good to know some one is out there that under stands. poppyjohn!

Hi SandHarber3,
How are you doing? And how is your mother doing? I am feeling a lot better now after about 2 weeks of doing nothing at all but could still be better but I know this is about the best it gets for me.
How is every thing in Florida? Pretty I bet. Well Iris, I better go for now tell your mom and dad I said hi and I hope you have a good day. poppyjohn!
