he walked out when i was ten. i got a letter from his lawer earlier this week. its about his will. he died two weeks ago and i need to be there in montana for the will reading on friday. also inclosed was a letter he wrote me at the age of 13.

I dont want to contact her cause apparently to my brother who has remained in contact with my mom she is still with the boyfriend that sexualy abused me. She didnt believe me when I told her and took his side. I dont think that is the kind of things I want my kids to be involved with.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Seconday Progressive MSdx 2001. secondary progressive. started ldn on wednesday and i'm on the fampridine (4AP) study
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- not hot tub, cool pool. ms aquatic class. great people, great teacher!
- Avonex Somewhat Helpful
- i stopped last week to go on ldn. started in 2001. have progressed since i started on it.
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- i have cut down from 50mg a day to 40mg in only 3 days on ldn
- LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Too Soon to Tell
- haven't woke up to pee in 3 days. cut down on baclofen.
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- have done this after every exasperation. i like the stretching best.
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- worked for about a week after an exasperation
- Symmetrel Not Working
- stopped this to go on fampridine study
Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ChildMy brother died of a drug overdose,6 months later, I was diagnosed with MS. 3 months after that, my daughter (25 yrs. old) was killed by her husband.
Treatments
- Crying Working / Worked
- Worked for a while. I had to set a timer to allow myself to cry for shorter and shorter times. My daughter wouldn't have wanted me to waste my whole life. This took about 2 years to start doing. She'll be gone 8 years tomorrow. Today, I cry when I want to and it doesn't hurt as bad. I have to admit, the week before an anniversary or birthday is the hardest. Th actual day isn't as bad.
- Getting Angry Working / Worked
- Did this too. Sometimes it just made me more angry. I didn't have to do this for very long.
- Helping Others Working / Worked
- I was asked to be a sponsor in a twelve step program the day my daughter was murdered.(I didn't find out till the next day.) It was perfect, I wasn't sleeping very well so it was okay to help her late at night.It was great to get out of my head.
- Music Working / Worked
- Love, Love, Love contemporary Christian music. Very uplifting to me still.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- God had brought me to Al-Anon and then brought me to an Awesome church. I had tons of support and thanked Him every day.Prayer always works.
- Reading Working / Worked
- I read some, didn't really grasp what I was reading at first. I was in shock I guess. I read a book from Barbara Johnson, "God's Most Precious Jewels Are Chrystilized Tears".I highly recomend it if you lost a child.
- Support Groups Working / Worked
- I went to Compassionate Friends a few times. I liked my other meetings better.
- Time Working / Worked
- It'll be 8 years ago (in 5 minutes) today that my daughter was murdered. I don't cry as often, I know I will see her later She left 3 beautiful daughters that act just like her. Some days it's like she's never left.
