Am a 32 year old widowed mother of 4. My youngest child is autistic. I am a breast cancer survivor of near 3 years now. My girlfriend is bipolar and together in our crazy world we try together to get by. Education is the key and lots of love and compassion. You can educate yourself in many subjects and life areas but without compassion and understand you will not get far.

I enjoy spending time with my family , music and movies, reading, playing online games like ultima online and pogo. Researching on many topics and some outdoor activities like swimming and walking ect..

I read your profile and could not ignore our similarities. My husband died last year. I have an autistic son (who is now 17 years old), had a breast cancer scare 2 years ago, biopsy, etc, and last but not least, my best friend is mentally ill and has totally avoided me since my husband died. (can't figure that one out) God bless you and give you strength. He is in control. Debi

Close Autism / Autism Spectrum
My 4 year old son is autistic. He is more severe on the spectrum, but is improving everyday. He has a lot of sensory, behavior, medical, language, and social and emotional issues. But I am trying to transfer him to a autism school where he can get more help.
Treatments
- Brushing Therapy Not Working
- We tried this at a younger age and it did not work. Caused a lot of stress on him and he really disliked touching more than he started with.
- Early Intervention Somewhat Helpful
- This helped a lot in the early years for things he struggled on. Really am thankful he participated in this.
- Occupational Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- He is still enrolled in this, and it seems to help in some areas, altho i feel at times the therapist gives him activites that are well below what he is needing.
- Picture / Word Schedules Somewhat Helpful
- This is somewhat helpful. It helps with some activities but on others he just gets angry and rips the picture. It really depends on mood for him.
- Sign Language Somewhat Helpful
- He does not use the signing all the time but it has been helpful at some times. However when he is angry he tends to use the signin on everyone else and not for his needs. But its things that just take time.
Close Breast Cancer
Stage: I (T1 N0)Was dx at age 29, with idc , triple negative. Am 32 now and just taking it one day at a time.
Treatments
- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- Made me very sick, had a really hard time during chemo. We called this the red devil. Would not wish this upon anyone.
- Reconstructive Surgery Working / Worked
- Had silicone implants put it, however they are already rippling and sitting awkward, really would like to have them fixed.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Bilateral Mastectomy.
- Taxol Working / Worked
- Did weekly taxol. The side effects that bothered me the most was the bone pain. It seemed horrible at times and the fact that I could not taste anything. Everything tasted the same.
Open Bipolar Disorder
My girlfriend is bipolar and I am here for support. She is my world and I will do anything to try and understand and what to do to help and be there for her.

I am 32 years old. My husband passed away at the age of 30 from a sudden heart attack almost 3 years ago. I miss him dearly but I know all I can do is take one day at a time and see him someday on the flip side..

Am 32 years old in a relationship with my girlfriend.. Society is not always accepting to bisexuals so it sure can be trying.. I dont ask much in this world just to be loved and to love..
