I saw your post the other day on this, and while I don't feel qualified to answer about 'post nephrectomy' hernias, I've got hernias that are giving me hell at times,and they've got surgery for that scheduled AFTER my partial in April (hernia surgery will be the end of June), ugh...but I'll ask my Dr. on Thurs if he knows of any resources that one can go to for more info. I'm sure he'd say the same though, get a weigh in on this from a Gen'l Surgeon. Don't take a 'whatever' attitude from any docs. It's YOUR body that's a hurtin'. Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
Diagnosed with RCC of right kidney in December. Had open radical nephrectomy in January.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Working / Worked
- Still experiencing extreme pain and nausea of the right flank radiating over to the left flank. Have developed large bulge on right side from rib removal.
