Initially dx'ed with what was said to be a 2 cm RCC. Turned out to be a renal angiomyolipoma! NSS was done April '09, and a CT will again happen in Oct. I am relived. I'm going to stay on to support others. I've learned alot and it's not ending for others; nor should anyone's support for this silent horrid disease of RCC.

Good Morning Hunter,
Where have you been? I get worried when I don't hear from my friends. I hope everything is ok.
I'm doing ok. I have a CAT this AM. My insurance will not pay for an MRI because it is soon after my last one. Makes me P***** off. How is the Dr. supposed to know how the radiation worked other than it seemed to take away the pain. I know it cost $$$$, however I feel like the Insuance Co. has control of my life. Don't like it!!!!!!!!! Enough whinning. But it is nice to have someone to vent other than Trish.
Hope you have a good week.
Talk later,
Love, Ron

Let's see, going thru the second year of a divorce 'process', and a tumor was found by 'accident' after a job injury as a result of a CT! This already has been a very tough time in my life but I'm tougher. I pray, and am thankful for every day I wake; I did before, why wouldn't I now? Ain't easy, lots of tears, but I'm still here! I
I'm on another support group here; I was diagnosed with several illnesses; the 'scare' was of RCC aft/surgery renal angiomyolipoma now the original symptoms that sent me to the E.R. in the first place are still at issue, my kidney function is now compromised, and I have just been diagnosed with Diabetes, KD, & major depression, ( a 2 year divorce battle would depress anyone) but I feel I can handle just about anything now. Surgery again late June, then healing with the Lord's help.
