I'm here if you need to talk. I wish I knew more, or at least as much as I used to. I started a group on my college campus to teach people sign. I figured it would be helpful in restaurants for waiters to know basic signs for taking orders and knowing how to read sign for "where's the bathroom" etc...giving sign to show where it was...I felt good about it and the girl I was a nanny for (she was 13 but needed help) liked to hang out with college kids and like that she was making a difference and helping people see that it was easy to sign and made others feel good and not so isolated when they went out.
Posted on your thread. Hope it helps some. I know a lot of sign I was a nanny for a totally deaf girl, she was really wonderful and I wish I still got to use the sign I had learned...you don't use it you lose it ya know?
