My son is in recovery for heroin addiction, he has been on suboxone for 18 months, 8 mg., 1 1/2x day. The sub is working great for him and he has an excellent psy dr, that he see monthly. I am not familiar with the implant. I commend you for taking the first step, heroin addiction is horrible, do you see a psy md., what other support do you receive. If you need to talk send me a message. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic for the past 21 years, I know how difficult it is in the beginning, but there are many success stories from heroin addicts who have been clean and sober for many years. Keep the faith, and ask for help on DS as much as you want and need to, this is a good support system.
