I got the result from todays HcG, and it was 93 (Mondays was 41.8). The tests were almost exactly 48 hours apart. So, I should be relieved that it doubled, right? The nurse still seemed a little hesitant, and told me to be cautiously optomistic. She said, "It's doubling, but it's doubling slowly". I though the general rule was doubling every 48 hours, and it DID! So now I have to continue to worry until my u/s on the 21st. That's a LONG TIME.
I'm trying to stay positive. I AM PG, and my HcG doubled. And from what I can tell, it's in the normal range. But, I'm SO SCARED of another m/c. Two is still considered fairly normal, but three is definitely a concern. And, I don't think I can handle the emotional turmoil again.

I'm so glad your numbers doubled! I understand your fears - I also had 2 miscarriages and was told that's "normal". Being pregnant is a scary but wonderful ride, and I'm praying time passes quickly for you and that all is well with this little one.

I also wanted to tell you that when I was newly pregnant with Danny my numbers were doubling slowly, so I definitely think that you are okay. Keep us posted.
