So this is the first chance I've had to write since Thursday, but I wanted to send out a quick update. We had our second u/s on Thursday. HR was 150 BPM and the baby measured right on schedule! So, tomorrow we'll be 8 weeks, officialy! We have an internet-calculated due date of March 9th. Thank you all for all of your support and thoughts. I can't tell you how happy I am!!
We spent the weekend at DH's family reunion on the lake, which is always fun. It was my birthday on Saturday, and we also told the family the news that day. McKynzie had a blast with all of her cousins and second cousins, and she even tried tubing for the first time! DH is a water-skier, so he anticipates having her up on skis in the next few years!!

I had my first u/s yesterday at 7 weeks 1 day, although I'm not quite sure what the point was. I had it done ar the RE (which I never did with McKynzie), and it showed one embryo with a heartbeat. The doc said the heartbeat looked good, although my uterus was positioned funny so they couldn't get any measurements there. Now I have to go back tomorrow to radiology where they have better equiptment. I wish they'd just sent me there in the first place. I was SO NERVOUS yesterday, and am slightly relieved to see a baby with a heartbeat, but I need to know we have good measurements and heartrate before I can rest easy, especially after our last pregnancy 7 week u/s had a slow heartrate and measured a week behing and resulted in m/c. Wish us luck tomorrow...

I got the result from todays HcG, and it was 93 (Mondays was 41.8). The tests were almost exactly 48 hours apart. So, I should be relieved that it doubled, right? The nurse still seemed a little hesitant, and told me to be cautiously optomistic. She said, "It's doubling, but it's doubling slowly". I though the general rule was doubling every 48 hours, and it DID! So now I have to continue to worry until my u/s on the 21st. That's a LONG TIME.
I'm trying to stay positive. I AM PG, and my HcG doubled. And from what I can tell, it's in the normal range. But, I'm SO SCARED of another m/c. Two is still considered fairly normal, but three is definitely a concern. And, I don't think I can handle the emotional turmoil again.

Woo hoo Erica! I think your number is great! I hope that I get PG soon, so we can be pregnant together! CONGRATS again!
