Independence Day Mood
Saturday, July 4, 2009 | A Positive story

Woke up grumpy this morning over the little things - couldn't find the newspaper, husband still in bed and hadn't fed the 3 dogs, no coffee made, etc., etc.  All this crabbiness (Maxine is my hero) didn't lead to being ashamed of myself, but did lead to laughter.  I'm feeling normal!  And that's the real gift - not just that I'm here one more day, not just that I'm alive, but that I feel normal!

So I fed the dogs, made coffee, then found the newspaper and sat outside reading it in peace.

How wonderful to have a normal start to a normal day.

Sounds like you a great attitude! A positive outlook counts for a lot. My mom, even after her terrible cancer diagnosis, never once complained. Bless her heart! God bless you too,Katie
