I'm not good at writting these things that are all about me so bear with me if its a little dry. lol My husband and I are going on 5 wonderful years together this month. Which we are really excited about. Not many people know this but we met at a mall here in St. louis when we were 16 and 17. Marcus was doing a school project, he had to plan a wedding. Needless to say long story short.. He ran into me at Zales Jewelry store and asked me to help him plan this wedding with him. while doing the school project this same night he proposed to me! Joking of course.. ha ha ( not really we both knew that this was it ). He enlisted in the Navy right before we met and he had to leave two months after we met. So we got married two years later and I packed up my clothes and moved across the US to be with the man of my dreams. ok enough mush.. lol ( jk we love that story! ) We have moved back to our home town, bought a house, have two vehicles and have been trying to get pregnant for the past three years. My first doctor she was so rude, and jumped to put me on Metformin, as well as everytime I was in the office she was always telling me that " I don't need to get pregnant , that I'm to young that I need to enjoy life, kids are just gonna make life a hassle". So yes of course we got a new doctor after that! I have finally found a doctor that cares about me and whats going on with my PCOS. And if helping me take things slowly and working on finding out all the facts about me. I have pretty much all the symptoms of PCOS except for insulins resistance i do not have that, and my hair growth is pretty minimule. Our new doctor has put me on Prometrium to get my periods to start every month, yeah! Considering I can go a year and probably alot longer without a period when i am not taking something. We graphed my temperature for three months and to our exctiement I am ovulating! Yeah!!! Not we have to get the Semen Analysis done for my husband and we will go from there...

I was diagnosed February 2007, my doctor at the time rushed to put me on metformin. I hated that drug, it made me so sick, and it made it difficult to work.I took myself off of that medication and also started looking for a new doctor. Because the one i had was telling me that I didnt need to get pregnant, that I was to young to have kids. Recently found a new doctor who now has me on Prometrium to get me periods to start every month so I can ovulate.And so far so good...
