As I sit here alone and sad
I think of our life together
how it was you and I
Mark and Kathy
and i think of all we did
I also think of what we had planned to do
and promises we had made
missing you

I miss your smile
your embrace
your jokes
and even your anger

We had a rocky start
who doesn't
and we had the lean years
Shopping exclusively at Aldi's
we had the surprise baby years
first one,then two then 3...
and we finally got our own house years
Man, was that a good feeling

we knew we were different
we really did have a lot in common
Not to many couples shared interest in all we did

I remember, gaming with our friends
going to the Renaissance fair
watching good movies together
going camping

I remember cook out, that you LOVED to do
I remember all those goofy shirts I just HAD to buy you
I remember letting you pick out our first dog
Bet not many people knew how much you loved animals too!

I will miss you terribly, all the days of my life
and wonder what could have been
and why were you taken away from me
and what I will do now on the 18th of May.....
