I look around and see so many people struggling...a co-worker who has cancer just lost her home of 25 years...a man I have known and loved all his life is in prison after going off his meds and stabbing a woman...a young woman I know is 3500 miles away from her family and friends, sad, alone and wishing she could afford to come home...one daughter, in rehab...one daughter my loose her job to downsizing, it all breaks my heart! And these are only the people close to me!! So when I realize that I am also struggling and start to feel bad I try to remember that my life is blessed! I am not without worries, health, money, job...but right now, in this moment the sun is shining and the breeze is blowing and I know I am loved! I have made it through another day and tomorrow is within reach. Let's pray for those less fortunate and count our blessings today and everyday.
