About Me
My husband and I have been married for 15 years. He is already functioning as my caregiver and is truly a wonderful man. I retired in 2003 and looked forward to a life of leisure. Alas, my years of smoking finally caught up with me, and I was diagnosed with COPD last August and quit smoking 3 months later. I still function quite well and have a nice circle of friends, but this disease is devastating nonetheless.
