I am living with Bipolar I disorder and have been for a very long time, although I was officially diagnosed in 2005. I am happily married and was hoping to have a child some time this year. I weaned off my meds and now it looks like I need to be back on them. It is a frustrating process. I just want to be able to "do/have it all" without BP getting in the way all of the time and throwing me for all these loops. I love meeting new people, so please stop by to say hello if you find the time!

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed as a rapid cycling Bipolar I --four years ago. I have been hospitalized four times since.
Treatments
- Abilify Working / Worked
- Worked pretty well despite med hangovers
- Celexa Not Working
- Caused rapid cycling
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Working / Worked
- A little tedious, but helpful....
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Worked like a charm, although I still felt some anxiety. No side effects other than that.
- Risperdal Somewhat Helpful
- Weight gain, grogginess
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Made me groggy and weight gainer
- Topamax Not Working
- Should be called Dopamax
- Zyprexa Working / Worked
- Worked for sleep, but weight gain
