My name is actually Lynn...... I only have one male cat, orange and white. He is 8 years old and has a very short tail. When he was young we had to have it amputated. Another animal must have got a hold of his tail and took the fur off which caused infection. I didn't even realize he was hurt until a few days later as he was keeping to himself. Anyway, we tried to save it but had to have it amputated. It was such a pretty tail, and I felt badly for him. Anyway, he's healthy now except he does get into fights once in a while. Last month he had an eye infection, probably from the nails of another cat. He loves to go out a night and we live in the country, so there are other cats around. Anyway, when we go to Florida, I have to leave him home, so my neighbour feeds him. I miss him when we are away, but he's happier. Take care.....LYNN

Well my mother was born in England too and came over when she was 3 years old. I don't know how she got here, but that was a long time ago. You are I are also the same age as I'll be 63 this year. Small world.

Hi Ivy. I just looked at your profile and we have a few things in common. I also have 2 children, 2 grown daughters and 1 grandchild. I am also a cat lover but only have one cat which is enough to keep me busy. We go camping in our trailer but we don't take the cat as he would go wild having to stay in at night. He likes to be outside but sleeps all day inside. Do you cats go outside or are they house cats?
