Hi there, I joined this group in December--seems like I've always been here. I wish I had it when I was first diagnosed. I have stage 1C ovarian cancer. I had an emergency hysterectomy in June '06 (my tumor burst). I did chemo. My hair has grown back. I'm 21/2 yrs cancer free. Hang-in..live and enjoy each day as you can. Things will seem brighter in time..love, Rhoda & Scottie (my kitty & avatar)

Close Ovarian Cancer
Hello, My name is Cynthia! I was just diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 1 week and 7 hours ago! I just found you guys and I'm so happy I did! I never got to have kids but I have an 8 yr. old step-son and a wonderful and supportive husband. My cancer was discovered during a removal of a tumor last week. I go back for debulking surgery on the 27th. I'm scared. Chemo will start after that. I'm grateful to have found this site & for the wisdom & insight of other women. Thanks! ~Cynthia
