I saw in a discussion you will be have the jab ...Heres to no side effects..I went to the doctors and they read my recent results and they say the jab is working well they are pleased at where I am...I hope this will be the case for you..The jab helps in the fight of the acromonster take care wishing you all the best JJ

Thanks for your reply. It makes a lot of sense and looking back I can see episode of major negative life events for which my GH probably made me look 'resilient'! Since the surgery I think my physical state is more coherent with my mental state. Although I feel more on a roller coaster of emotions!!

I read what you shared with Arid... I also did not connect the dots with my symptoms until..I after I was diagnosed ...one of my early journal entries explans how I was dianosed...anyway...I thoguht like you did so many of these symtpoms seemed like aging...I too was told that i did not " look like I had acro...but when you look at picture oer time...it was clear!!!! even now I look at pics prior to surgery and I see a big difference today....although I have gained 45 pounds...anyway just thoguht I would say HI

John big hug dont get down my doctor says not to worry about levels unless they go really high as long as youre feeling good and keep kicking acrosass keep on top never let acro smile this conditon loves it when it think it wins our stress levels go up we feel sad and this is so not good.So heres a big hug waiting for you some strength you kick ass.

Close Acromegaly
Diagnosed acromegalic (microadenoma) in 2008. Had my transsphenoidal adenectomy on 16 March 2009, returned home 20March. Now at home recovering.
