I live in Las Vegas (for seven yrs) I am from a small town in Ohio. I have two cats that are my babies. I have a very loving boyfriend who lives in Los Angeles CA. for now but plans to move to Vegas. I love to travel (I have been to every state except for Hawaii, Alaska, Vermont, Washington, Montana and Iowa. Also canada and mexico. One day I wish to live in hawaii

I like reading, cooking(sometimes), listening to my tunes (rock and hevey metal some blues), traveling, gambling especially video poker and let it ride. takeing of on weekend get aways (there is so much to see out west) I hope to do it more often, writing and just enjoying good friends and good times.

Doing OK, how kind of you to check in on me! Ye, April isn't my favorite month. On the 23rd my Dad will have been gone 26 years. I have now lived longer without a father than with one but will always be grateful I had him while I did. I miss his sense of humor; he was Irish and very funny. Thank God I inherited the Irish humor-good coping mechanism. Have a nice day - weather a litle cool here. xo Nancy

Type: Loss of a ParentAt the age of 18 I watched my mother/best friend die of ovarian cancer. I was not equipped to handle that because that kind of stuff did not happen to "my family". That was 15 yrs ago. 2yrs ago my father passed away suddenly and trying to cope with that plus never dealing with my mother's death has at times become unbarable to me.

- I think crying does help (as long as it does not consume your life). The release of emotion through crying some how makes the load lighter.

- Music to me is a great escape

- I am currently reading a book called Motherless daughters by Hope Edelman. I can not say enough about this book I love it. i feel like I am normal after all.

Close Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: PollenLooking for answers to help my boyfriend who is such a sweetie but sometimes suffers so bad with allergies. he tends to get light headed, tired, dragged out and self concious. He has tried various meds. But unfortanatly has no insurance so it is hard sometimes to get them(they are so expensive).He would like to look into getting shots if he can find away. I am just looking for support so i can be a better mate for him. Thank you

For the first time in 20 yrs I am going to attempt to quit smoking. I know this because i went to the Dr. and have my prescription sitting on my coffee table. I am scared nervous and excited all balled into one. And I just hope i dont fail
