Close Meth Addiction & Recovery
Recovering meth addict. I have been clean since April 2000. I had two kids, one in 1993 and one in 1994 while i used meth. I did quit when I was pregnant both times, but couldnt wait to start doing it again. During 1995 to 2000 I could not function with out it. I sold it to support my habbit. It was my salvation..... so I thought.
Treatments
- Detox Working / Worked
- I completely moved away from anyone that could get it for me. I detoxed myself for around 30days. My brother came to help me take care of my kids. IT worked. I slept for 3 two weeks straight, i got up to pee and eat. I had no motivation to do anything. MY brother helped get the kids to school and cook for them.
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Working / Worked
- In the beginning I used them because the courts said I had too. I wasnt really clean. Now that I am really clean I do us the sights when I get the urge to party. I start missing the fun part. Then I need a reality check,
