Michelle I lean towards eating more of a veggie diet. Think about it this way foods that are not processed you can eat. I eat seafood and poultry for the most part with lots of veggies and salads. I buy gluten free cereal, oats and pancakes for when I want more than a fruit smoothie for breakfast. I still eat a few cheese items like ricotta, cottage, fat free shreaded cheese ........I make my own dough and freeze it and when I want it I make pizza and my family loves it. I keep glutn free cookies in the house and gluten free cake and brownie mix so if I am in the mood for something sweet. I buy organic syrup and all natrual applesauce.. Here is a dinner I make Pork chops grilled with onion, apple and oranges slices, miced garlic, little salt and pepper...microwaved sweet potatoes and fresh green beans tossed in olive oil and baked in the oven with almond slices.....everyone loves it and I don't have to kill myself....the most work is slicing the apple, peeling the orange and dicing the onion. In the pan...in the microwave and in the oven to bake itself............my biggest job now is flipping the pork and making sure I don't burn anything. I am going to put some easy recipes on my blog that don't take any gluten free thinking/cooking. Do you like vegetable and fruits? I ask because some people don't.....

Hi Michele, I am doing a post right now on my gluten free blog. I am up early have to go to the dentist for cleaning @ 9am. Yes, bran cereal has lots of gluten. You will have to purchase gluten free cereal. Some of the Chex cereals are gluten free. Also you want to look in the aisle that sells coffee, flour ..for BOB RED MiLL products, they sell gluten free. Whole foods stores like Trader Joes not sure what is in your area. Shaws has a section and you can find some gluten free products. Most people go online and purchase gluten free products because it can be a little cheaper, and you can find more products that are ready made as well as snacks and cereal. I will post a few of the places online that you can make purchases. I decided against doing the entire shopping list right now because It can be expensive to buy all at once and you may not use everything and or it can go bad. Hope you are feeling well, have a great day.
