Hello my real name is Tracy. I have suffered from depression since a young age. And I also am a parent of child with special needs. I suffer from Irritable bowel syndrome which really makes my depression worse at times. I have just decided to try for another child.

I enjoy reading and playing on the wii machine. I like music & films of all genres. I really enjoy getting together with my friends & family (& my sister, No1HarryFan) regularly. I also enjoy writing my own poetry, some of which, I hope to share here

Close ADHD / ADD
My son suffers from ADHD. He is 14 years old now. But he still has problems. He also suffers from dyspraxia & D.A.M.P syndrome
Treatments
- Concerta Working / Worked
- The medication has helped to calm him & focus his attentions. Even so it has been a slog over the past years, Side effects for him include a higher metabolism so he struggles to put weight on, which he loves coz he can eat like a horse lol

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionWhere do I start? At the age of 12/13 I lost my Mum. Which was difficult as my Dad was suffering from depression before & I ended up mostly bringing my little sister up. At the age of 17 I had a son who later then was dioagnosed with ADHD. This has been very difficult for me. And I have foun d it hard to find a relationship where my partner will except my son
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- This I took 4 years ago but it was VERY difficult to come off it.
- Paxil Too Soon to Tell
- I have recently stopped taking this med as I am trying for another baby
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- It is always hard for outsiders to see the support I have needed over the years but thwey have tried in their own ways
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- I enjoy writing my own poetry and at times it has helped me to exprssed myself or what I am feeling
- Music Working / Worked
- Especially when out listening to my Mp3 player helps with anxiety
Open Trying To Conceive
It has been nearly 15 years since my first child was born when I was 17. Me and my partner have decided to try for another child.
Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
I have suffered with IBS for 12 years. It causes me excrutiating pain & I do my best to keep my diet healthy but this has been a struggle for me.
Treatments
- Buscopan Somewhat Helpful
- It has helped but has caused stomach pains
- High Fiber Diet Considering
- It has helped me in the past but it is hard to maintain
- Mebeverine Somewhat Helpful
- Again the same with the buscopan it has helped but has only caused other problems
- Peppermint Not Working
- This has caused severe irritation of the stomach

ihave a fifteen year old son who has adhd, dyspraxia and d.a.m.p. syndrome. i am also looking after my partner who suffers with anxiety and depression. its been hard but ive learned alot. sometimes its nice to know you can talk to someone who knows how you feel.
