I've been diagnosed with FM for a few years now. I have DDD, bulging discs with a pinched nerve, osteoarthritis in the facet joints, facet stenosis, Sacroilitis, mild scoliosis, and a twisted pelvis. Next testing to be done is on the tailbone area that they forgot in the MRI. Currently enrolled in college but on there disability program, so I can do my school work at home. I will probably have to drop this semester :( Chronic back pain for 4 months now and they just started doing scans. I'm just trying to get my life back.

I am 19 and have had Fibro for about 2 years now. It used to be tolerable but now it is out of control!
Treatments
- 5-HTP Working / Worked
- Just got.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- Extreme nausea, stopped taking.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- I wear one to two lidoderm patches every single day. One on my stomach sometimes two, and once in a while on my tailbone where I have severe pain.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Works well but moist heat is the best!! Warm baths with epson salt will help aching joints.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Weaning off!
- Morphine Working / Worked
- Kadian, made me feel so sick! Almost an out of body experience, and didn't help pain.
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- I was extremely allergic. Made me throw up!
- Ultram Working / Worked
- Worked alright, one doctor put me on this because he didn't think my pain was bad enough to continue with my narcotics. He was wrong...
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- I take 2 tablets one in the morn. one at night, 4 times a week sublingually. I can't absorb many vitamins due to a prior surgery so I am having to move up to the shots :( .

Just diagnosed
Open Back Pain
Just diagnosed with mild Scoliosis and a twisted pelvis. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a couple years ago. I have an MRI scheduled.
Treatments
- Bedrest Working / Worked
- I am always on bedrest but the problem is I have Fibromyalgia so when I don't use my joints and muscles I am in extreme pain. It is a mean cycle.
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
- Just started seeing the Chiropractor. My back pain has finally be found in xrays after 6 years.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Feels way better then ice for me. I love my heating pad and my hot baths with e. salt.
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- I take 1600mg a day but it is starting to not cut the pain anymore. I am going to be seeing pain management soon so I hopefully will get something for my back.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
Open Degenerative Disc Disease
19 years old with DDD, bulging discs, and a compressed nerve. I have Fibromyalgia as well as mild scoliosis and a twisted pelvis. I did a back flip on a large trampoline and landed on the springs before flipping over the side.
