Hi, my name is Wendy. I have had 2 back surgeries, am currently on tx for hep c., I also have depression and anxiety.
Treatments
- Interferon, pegylated Working / Worked
- It is working, on my 7th mo. On my 4th mo. my viral load was below 10! Doc hasen't checked it since.
- Ribavarin Working / Worked
- I take it with the redipen, and they are working!
Close Back Pain
Well, I am a 27 yr old fmale. I had my first back surgery when I was 18, then a second one at 23, I had an artificial disk put in. Got addicted to pain meds, currently on Suboxone, and on treatment for hep c. have depression & anxiety.
Treatments
- Bedrest Working / Worked
- sleeping is wonderful, but too much can make you really sore.
- Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
- works well for me.
- Cortisone (Injection) Not Working
- Did not work, and also had a spinal fluid leak, which caused a migraine, took 2 visits to the ER to get rid of it.
- Darvon Not Working
- Not strong enough for me.
- Fentanyl Working / Worked
- Very strong, helped the pain, but was addicted.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Heat feels great, but some meds i'm on make me sweat already.
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- worked for a while, then became used to it, and needed something stronger.
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- Works, but if you take it too long it will tear your stomach up.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- I was never perscribed it, but I would go to the ER a lot to get shots of it, the shots seemed to help me more than anything.
- Naproxen Working / Worked
- works, but like Ibuprofen it will hurt you stomach ove a long period of time.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- I had physical therapy many times, and manytimes I could not finish it case my back was too bad. But when I could, it helped emensly.
- Stretching Working / Worked
- Yes, have to stretch, or will be soo stiff.
- TENS Somewhat Helpful
- Relaxes my mucsles, so it helps a little, sometimes.
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- I got hooked on pain pills I was on hem for about 7 yrs.
