Diagnosed August 2001 Geno1-Stage 1. Been sober since Jan08 after 25 yrs of drinking! Finally got my head on straight, humbled myself, and letting God run the show. Now I'm working on the physical being. And it ain't easy! Family is extremely important to me, and i'm sooo grateful to have their love and support. I am aware of God's everlasting presence and draw from his strength and power! He keeps me sane! FYI-I'm a lab rat, so am getting all tx FREE! I affirm, keep it positive!

My husband, Karl and I love to take the RV out to places unknown - such a beautiful country we live! Living life to the fullest! Maintaining positive attitude and keeping God close! Helping others is the only way i know how to stay away from myself - lol!

I just found out today that my six month post treatment blood work came back UNDETECTABLE ....I AM WALKING ON AIR! i AM SO HAPPY THE HORRIBLE TREATMENT PAID OFF! I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU MY FRIEND...HOPE YOU ARE DOING O.K. SORRY I HAVE BEEN AWAY FOR SOOOOOOOO LONG.

I was diagnosed in 2001 after donating blood. This was much to my surprise as I did not do intravenous drugs - however, piercings i did and surmised this is the culprit. I've known about my alcoholism since i was a teen and finally did something about it Jan. 08 - have been sober since. Prepared my mind for the entire year of 08 and started tx Feb 09. I know how important fellowship is - knowing i'm not alone! Thank you to everyone!
