Food Journal

 

Breakfast

- 2 fiber one poptarts- 7

- 1 fiber one yogurt- 1 

- iced coffee w/ 3 pumps of flavoring and skim milk- 1 

 

Lunch

- a falafal- 13

 

snack

- 3/4 c of low sodium butternut squash soup- 1 

-  100 calorie pack of almonds- 2

 

dinner

- 4 oz of meatloaf made with 96% lean ground beef- 6

- 1 c of gnocchi- 5 

- 1/2 c of vodka sauce- 2 

- 1 c of mixed eggplant and zucchini 

- 1 roll- 3 

 

snack

- 1 c of pinapple- 1 

 

- 2 points for yoga class/walking to class

 

41 points total 

34 plus 7 flex points 

 

35-7= 28 flex points left

 

A note about the falafel.  It was my first time trying it and I really enjoyed it.  A girl in my grad class told me about a street car that sells them outside our building .  I was skeptical cuz i didn't really know what is in them.  It is a pita with hummus, lettuce, and fried vegetarian meatballs.  It sounds kind of weird I know.  But it was really good.  13 points may seem like a lot for a sandwhich but let me tell you that thing held me from noon until almost 5.
