I have suffered with Fibromyalgia and Arthritis for 9 years... 9 very, very long years. lol It actually started its cycle when I was 17, hurting for a few months and then one day the pain would be gone like magic only to reappear a few weeks or months later. And then came the day (not too long after the birth of my twins) the pain just never left. I am a mother of three amazingly awesome children. Eleven-year-old twins(girl and boy)and a two-year-old with excessively excessive amounts of energy, curiosity, and stubborn independence! (lol he's a hoot and a half most days!) I am blessed with a wonderfully supportive husband - thank the Lord, cause who would carry me up the stairs at night otherwise? lol I am no longer able to work outside the home due to my illness, but have been crazy enough to take up daycare, which I really, really love, but takes up every bit of my energy and more most days.

I am an avid reader, writer (you'll notice I never have a short post), gardener, and jewelry designer. I also love to remodel and redecorate my home. My husband is no longer surprised to come home and find the living room a different color. Nor is he surprised when I can barely move or walk for the following three days. And I wonder where my littlest one gets his stubborn streak from...

HI Rhayne: It's been a very good day. We went to brunch and the kids hung out for a while after and we laughed and joked... Then my bf and I went on a long walk! Close Fibromyalgia
I've had Fibromyalgia and Arthritis for nine years now. I'm one of those that have extremely severe pain, so I'm always struggling to find the balance between pain, medication and life. I'm a mother of three and am lucky enough to have a very supportive husband. I had to quit my career (manager of high-end jewelry stores), but I try hard to be a good wife and mother and still have the energy to pursue my own interests. Some days it works, other days, well...

- awesome, very helpful, especially on those really painful days
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- loved it, really helped the achiness. but unfortunately the side effects were simply too much for me
- Heat Working / Worked
- helps a bit
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- I love Lyrica, controls about 40% of my pain, but the weight gain is out of control!!! trying to change meds because of this.
- Ultram Working / Worked
- ultram is awesome! works well, without side effects, no groggy feeling
- Vitamin B12 Considering
- well, I keep trying it, don't know if its doing anything, but at least I feel as if I am being proactive with my treatment
