One day at a time
Last night, I decided (reluctantly) to order "ATTEND" for Sean. I feel good that I am not opting to jump into the mainstream of …
My name is Kelly and I am 34 years old. I live in sunny South Florida and have since 1989. I have been divorced for 2 years. My ex and I share a "week on, week off" schedule with my two sons, Cameron and Sean. Cameron is 10 years old and is an absolute blast! He is in Tae Kwon Do and HE wants to someday achieve his black belt! How great is that! Sean is 7 years old and is such a cutie pie. He is just one of those kids you fall in love with immediately! He plays soccer and dabbles in Tae Kwon Do just like his big brother. I say "dabble" because I think he only likes going because his brother is in it! I pretty much spend my weeks (when I have the boys) playing taxi service to them getting them to all their afterschool activities - Religion class, TKD class, Soccer - and of course NONE of them are on the same day! My weeks "off", I pretty much take a breather and still go to their afterschool activities. I FINALLY have somone in my life that compliments ME! He loves me AND my kids just as we were his own family (well, we are sort of). I have an older sister and brother. My sister is a breast cancer survivor at the age of 41 (was diagnosed a year ago). I lost my dad to melanoma in February of 2007, within days of my divorce becoming final. My mom is the strongest person I know and I am blessed to have such a great relationship with her, and my siblings. They are my best friends! That's all I can think of at the moment! I joined this sight after tyring to find some information and other ppl going through the same things I was. What a great online community this is! Glad I joined!
